"This track began as an exercise in writing a musical palindrome - a composition where the notes used are in the same sequence whether played forwards or backwards. It quickly became an "imperfect palindrome" since I made no attempt to integrate note lengths and rests into the process ... And then, as I added more counter-melodic/harmonic elements to the arrangement, I pretty well ignored the idea altogether! However, if you were to transcribe my guitar line and then reverse it you'd definitely hear that the notes were the same! Honest!" Terry/Yukio
